shortcut to desktop "display" button missing on taskbar

I recently upgraded to XP and one annoyance is the little
button on the taskbar next to the start button is
missing, the button I am concerned with was
called "display" and it minimized all of your windows at
once so you would see the desktop immediately. Right now
I have to minimize window by window to get there. Several
people at my company are interested in a fix.
Thanks,
