taskbar

Where is my taskbar? I can't keep my taskbar on my
desktop. I have XP. I have 3 other accounts(wife and 2
kids) and they don't lose their taskbar. I have the
autohide unchecked. sometimes I have a taskbar, but most
times I don't and I can't figure out why. If I am
running a program and minimize, I cannot restore it. I
have to press the windows button on the keyboard to get
to the start menu. What in the heck am I doing
wrong?????

I suggest you visit MS-MVP Kelly's website at

Note the instructions at the top of the page,
then scroll down to line 164,
(Restore Taskbar to Default Functionality)

Right-click the hyperlink, then click | Save Target As |
to download the file, "xp_taskbar_desktop_fixall.vbs",
then double-click and follow the prompts.
