shortcut problem

whenever i rightclick on a shortcut, it takes 2-3 seconds
to bring up the window. Im running 2k pro on a brand new
system and ive had the problem since i got it. is this
documented at all? it only happens whith shortcuts,
wherever they are.

Have you got Norton Internet Security installed?

Also try temporarily disabling your anti virus to check if that's
causing an issue
