Shortcut keys like Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, Ctrl+A etc Not Working

Hello All,

I am facing a strange problem for the past two weeks. The short cut
keys in my home PC with Windows XP has not ben working. I don't
remember doing anything unknowingly. I tried to check if this could be
a problem with the 'Stick keys' in Accessibility options. But still the
problem exists even after disablig the 'Stick keys'.

This is not a problem only with any particular application. This
happens across all applications like notepad, wordpad, MS-Office
applications, IE and so on.

One more thing is, the problem is happening with both the Ctrl buttons
on the keyboard. I checked this to ensure that it is not a problem
because of the keyboard itself but some software bug.

Can anyone help me? I am so used to the short cut keys(Ctrl + ...) that
now I feel i have to use the Alt keys or the mouse.

~Thanks

try uninstalling the keyboard drivers from the Device manager then
reboot as instructed.

Start/Run devmgmt.msc
