Shortcut key for "full screen" in Excel? O/T

Slightly off-topic.

Is there a shortcut key to get in and out of "full screen" screen
mode in Excel?

The menu option is View -> Full Screen but I would like to use a
keyboard shortcut.

There is no shortcut for Full screen by default, but you can easily create it yourself:
In Excel click /Tools/Macro/Record Macro, give it a name and shortcut of your choice and store it in "Personal Macro Workbook", then click OK, switch to Full Screen manually and stop recording.
Then do the same for a shortcut to switch back to normal view.
Be sure to save the Personal Macro Workbook when you close Excel (you will be prompted for that).

I just tried it myself and it works great.

Your suggestions don't work in my copy of the application. I have got Excel 2002.
I have looked up the help section searching for shortcuts. I found a ton of shortcuts there but no ones to toggle between views.
The shortcuts you mentioned have the following functionalities in my Excel (copied from the help section):

ALT+U
Apply or remove the upward diagonal border.

ALT+V
If cells in multiple columns are selected, apply or remove the vertical divider.

So which Excel version are you referring to?
