Shortcut Icon in new browser

Hi, first post here, so if I'm in the wrong area, please let me know. I have
a desktop icon that is being used for many users to get to an internet site.
I need this shortcut to open a new browser though, and not just use the one
currently open. When I click on the shortcut's properties, I have 3 tabs,
General, Web Document, and Security. I'm assuming that the most likely
solution would be in the Web Document tab. Under there are 3 items, URL,
Shortcut Key, and Visits. Any ideas how I can force this shortcut to open in
a new browser? Thanks in advance.

If you are using Internet Explorer, go to Tools>Internet
Options>Advanced and check the box to open shortcuts in a new window.
