Spin,
It depends entirely on what the needs are. You can sell through PayPal and
just insert links, but that might not be as easy as it might seem. For
example, you don't have the benefit (by default) of a database of products,
you don't have the ability to track who buys what, you don't have the
ability to offer purchasers a rich e-commerce exprerience. The list goes on
and on.
I've been working recently with the FrontPage Cart system. I got a demo of
it from the guy who runs it, Paul Colligan. Paul showed me just how
powerful FrontPage Cart is, and I was so impressed that I offered to write
an add-in that would easily integrate FrontPage Cart into FrontPage. Now,
with the FrontPage Cart Companion, I truly feel that FrontPage Cart is the
best e-commerce solution for FrontPage. For as little as $19 per month, you
will have no worries (everything is managed by FrontPage Cart) and you have
the benefit of a very professional appearance and experience.
Check out
http://www.frontpagecartcompanion.com. Paul has just introduced a
short video to show you how FrontPage Cart Companion works and how easy it
is to build your store in FrontPage.
