PayPal Shopping Cart Code Question

Hello,
We use Paypal Standard Cart on Website using FrontPage 2002. We want to be
able to offer customers the ability to select more than "1" item at a time to
purchase something. Right now they have to change quantity in shopping cart
and go back to website. We want them to be able to select any quantity of an
item and then send this quantity to PayPal Cart. We were told by PayPal
Developers this was a JAVA Script function and easy to do but they cannot do
it for us. We are willing to pay for this script. Our website is done with
PayPal already installed and functional. We are trying to avoid adding 3rd
party cart and adding delays and costs. Just want the customer to be able to
purchase more than ONE ITEM at a time. Tks. Liz

Your customers should be able to purchase whatever they like, if you use
'Add to Cart' buttons instead of "Buy Now" buttons.

Put an "Add to Cart" button next to each item.

Then place a "View Cart" and/or "Check Out" button at top and/or bottom of
the page. Remember you can make your own buttons to replace the standard
PayPal ones.

So clicking the "Add to Cart" will put that item in the PayPal standard
(default) shopping cart.

When you're done shopping, click the "Check out" button, which then takes
you to PayPal's site, listing all the items in the shopping cart, and gives
the customer the opportunity to pay.

On the paypal site, you can generate the code for the "add to cart" buttons
in the same way you do for "Buy Now". just follow the instructions on PP's
site. All that information should be under the "merchant tools" (or similar
title) on their site.

The option to choose the number of items should be able to be integrated
into the form (as an option) when you do the "wizard" to generate the add to
cart button(s).

However, this might be available in the more advanced level of the Paypal
functionality....there's the 'Standard' and "advanced/business" versions
which offer more features etc. You may need to revise which level of Paypal
membership you have, and upgrade to the "business" or "premium" (whatever
PayPal refers to them as) membership.

But since this is not *really* specifically a Frontpage question, maybe you
could contact PayPal themselves.
