Shockwave Games

Since I upgraded to XP ? I have been unable to play a number of games in
shockwave. Some I can some I can't. Can play Jigsaw, word sense, word up and
toss words but can not play bookworm and diamond mine. When I try to load
them I get a blank box and a little square in top left hand corner with a
red X. I assume there must be some adjustment I need to make to XP. Can you
help me here ? My wife is having withdrawal from not been able to play
Bookworm

Are these the Bottlecap games? If so, you may want to check whether you've
got the right Microsoft Virtual Machine (java) installed. Go to Start/Run
and type in "wjview" without the quotes. If it shows you less than build
38.10 of the VM or none at all, take a look at this web page for details and
download locations:

First download the newest shockwave player (8.5.1) and
Flash Player 7. Then if that dosen't work, download the
newest version of your browser (IE, Netscape Mozilla
etc.)
