Please advise - Have tried this, but continually get
error message -
1.Insert the Windows Me startup disk into drive A.
2.Click Start, click Shutdown, and then click Restart.
3.When the Windows Me Boot menu is displayed, click
Option 4, Minimal Boot.
4.At the command prompt, type: c:.
5.Press ENTER.
6.At the command prompt, type: cd progra~1\verizo~1
\winpoet.
7.Press ENTER.
8.At the command prompt, type: ren shlwapi.dll
shlwapi.bak.
9.Press ENTER.
10.Remove the startup disk, and then press CTRL+ALT+DEL
to restart the computer.

Can you tell us what error you get as it may help us to fix the problem,
your post suggests your trying to change a file, if the file is a system
file it may be set as hidden and you will need to run the ATTRIB -h command
at the prompt to unhide it before you attempt to rename it.
