SHLWAPI.dll

On a win2k pro box sp3 I installed MSN 8 and when it
opens I revcive the following error

"The procedure entry point StrRetToBSTR could not be
located in the dynamic link library SHLWAPI.dll."

MSN tech support says it is not their programs error but
it is a windows error.

How do I fix this error?

It sounds like SHLWAPI.dll has become corrupted or was
removed when you installed MSN 8. You can download it
from here
http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?shlwapi
or you can try coping from the .cab files from the Win2k CD
Let me know if this works.
