Shift + delete = permanent delete and lost HD space.

Whenever I do a shift+delete on a file (to delete it without it going into the recycle bin), the files do delete but all the space I should have reclaimed has dissapeared. This is the worst thing about WinXP, and now Im gonna have to do a format to get all those gigs back.

The space will probably appear (as has happened previously) although not for several weeks.

Any tech-heads know of an easier way to get my space back? My HD is small so I need the space badly.

You know? You can set recycle bin to del files directly.
You right click recy bin and in content, you can check a box to go.
