Shift-Ctrl-<Arrow> doesn't work

I am using Excel 2002 and find that Shift-Ctrl-<Arrow> don't work at
all. Ctrl-<Left/Right Arrow> also do not work as before - instead of
brig me to the end of a continuous block, they bring me to the end of
the page (that I see on screen)
Is it supposed to be so? What am I doing wrong?
Thanks

Perhaps you have Tools>Options>Transition "Transition navigation keys" checked
on?

How about the ScrLk key?

Tools, Options, Transition(tab), turn off Transition shortcut keys

Transition is from Lotus 1-2-3 and you do not want
any transition options in effect as that would put you
out of synch with the rest of use and with newer Excel
options.

Also make sure that you do not have Scroll Lock in effect
you would see SCRL in the lower right (on the status bar)
if that were in effect.
