shift and control button not working

hi, i cannot use my shift and control buttons on my laptop, when tring to put
a capital letter it just doesn't write anything, so i am guessing it is in
the brians of the laptop. i have tried reinstalling the driver, restarting
the laptop many times and asked all around people i know. please help.

Try updating the driver, reinstalling may not work because the driver may be
corrupted so a new download may help.
