Shell stops and Exlporer Crashes at Logon

When user logs on, the Explorer crashes repeatedly and
generates error messages and the following Event in the
App log. The Admin logon works fine. Any tips on how to
trace this problem?

Event Category: None
Event ID: 1002
Date: 1/6/2004
Time: 6:13:29 PM
User: N/A
Computer: KINSEI
Description:
The shell stopped unexpectedly and Explorer.Exe was
restarted.
 
Dr Watson log reveals
Application exception occurred:
App: explorer.exe (pid=1416)
When: 1/6/2004 @ 18:44:33.534
Exception number: c0000005 (access violation)

Fault occurs at function: DllCanUnloadNow
