I'm and working with internet explorere 6 sp1
tring to connect via lan cable to the internet.
keep getting the above error anyone got a fix

Hi,

When IE cannot get a URL on the Internet resolved via DNS it will indicate
this error. I would recommend checking your IP settings against what your
ISP recommends and perhaps contacting them to make sure your configuration
is valid for connection to them.
