when i am on the internet and try to access some site to
sign up or to check my current accounts with some sites
it says can't find server and i get the
message "res://C:\WINDOWS\System32\shdoclc.dll/dnserror"
in the address bar. I have looked everywhere to find a
solution and can't find one. Any ideas would be

Hello
The only thing I can find out is that it could be caused from somekind of a
worm or parasite or just a website error
Download and run a virus scan just to double check yours. (free)

Download, Update and Run Adware
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/

The thing most people do not know is that after they buy a computer with
virus protection installed they have to go in and register and download the
updates and continue to update it or set it to auto update then after a
period of time the subscription will run out usually in 90-180 days at that
time they will have to purchase new protection either online or from a
retail store and at that time they will be able to update for a period of
365 days (1 year).

Hi,

How are you connecting to internet? If you are using dialup connection
check if the connection you are using is default dialup connection. If not
set it as default internet connection. To do this follow the instruction :-

Open internet explorer -> select tools -> select internet options -> select
Connections tab -> Select the dialup connection you use to connect to
internet -> select Always dial my default connection -> click on Set
Default button.

If you have dedicated connection check network settings. Also contact your
ISP for support.
If you have any firewall or proxy installed check proxy/firewall settings.

I am happy to help you. Do let me know your progress on this issue.
