SHARP PRINTER DRIVER

I just installed my two year old copy of Windows XP Pro
on an older (3 years old) machine (IBM compatible 633MHz
running WIN ME). Neither the printer driver for a Sharp
UX2200CM nor does any printer icon show up on the PRINTER
FAX list from the CONTROL PANEL. When I try to install
from the BROWSE feature from the manufacturer's (Sharp's)
disk, the system cannot find the file. Can anyone make
any suggestions.

If you kept the printer connected during the upgrade, the drivers become
corrupted. You really need to do a complete uninstall and reinsall of the
printer as per:

Have you looked for updated drivers at the manufacturer's website...
Windows9x/ME drivers will NOT work with XP, though Windows 2000 drivers will
usually work OK.
