sharingn windows directory

hello,

impossible to read or write on the windows directory of my xp pro computer
from Me or W98 computers. The disk and the directory are declared shared.
somebody knows the solution?(forgive my english).

By default, XP Pro doesn't allow network access to the Windows
directory. You can remove this restriction by disabling simple file
sharing:

1. Open My Computer.
2. Click Tools | Folder Options | View.
3. Scroll to the end of the list of advanced settings.
4. Un-check "Use simple file sharing (Recommended)".
