sharing subfolders of inbox

Using Outlook 2003 with Exchange SBS 2000

Would like to share a one subfolder of my inbox with my assistant.
I gave reviewer rights to my inbox and then author rights to the subfolder.
When she goes to "open other users folder" and types in my name she can see
everything in my Inbox but none of the subfolders. If possible I don't want
to place this folder into public folders.

You need to grant the rights at the root of your information store and then
grant/restrict rights on the individual folders.

Could you explain what you mean about 'root of information store'? I'm
having the same issue, but can't figure out how to right it.
I right-clicked on 'Mailbox - Boss' name' to change the permissions, but
inbox is still the only mail option that comes up under 'Other User's
Folder'. Do you have any idea what I'm doing wrong?
