My wife and I have administrator accounts on our system. When she downloads,
I can't access the downloads. When I download, she can't access them. Then
there is the flashplayer program that only I can run. She keeps getting,
"please download the flashplayer" and nothing comes on. Please help

You may not be using the shared folders of "Simple file sharing", (or have
them marked Private) There are several posibilities.

Description of File Sharing and Permissions in Windows XP (Q304040):

Mr. Ferguson, As per the article, "Simple file sharing" is always turned on
in the XP Home edition. I tried following the steps to turn it on/off and I
don't even get the "Use Simple File Sharing (Recommended) box.

You are most likely using 'Home Edition" of XP, and only get 'Simple File
Sharing" (unless you used the CACLS utility to change that.) Basically, that
means that Only the folders under your "My Documents" folder are in the
'shared' area for others. If, further, they were marked 'Private', even those
would not be shared by others.

The only available shared space, in that case would be the "../All Users/
Shared Documents" folders.
