Sharing MS Outlook Calendars outside your organization

My wife and I both use MS Outlook Calendar at our respective places of
employment. Is there any way that we can share our Calendars? Or is this
not possible due to information security measures? Can we periodically email
the next couple of months of our Calendars to each other?
