Sharing mishaps Outlook 2003

I have two users who tried to share their Task lists, and it has resulted in
one user's calendar appointments being sent/applied to the other's calendar.
When user A accepts an appointment for their calendar, it is sent to user B's
calendar, and does not show up on user A's calendar at all. I have checked
delegates and permissions, and they are all removed (they tried to go back to
previous settings after they realized it was messing up) but user A's outlook
still tries to apply calendar appointments to user B's calendar. It comes up
with "cannot open folder" when you click on "calendar" in an appointment
request because it is trying to open user B's no-longer-shared (and wasn't
supposed to be) calendar. We have an Exchange 2003 server on-site that they
are connected to.

I gave them instructions on sharing just their task lists, but it is obvious
one of them set up the calendar portion wrong. Currently, they are both set
to no permissions/delegates. If I add user A to user B's delegate list with
permissions for the calendar, appointments in user A's inbox will be applied
to user B's calendar and the "calendar" button on appointment emails will
open user B's calendar. Removing permissions does not stop this behavior, but
rather pops up errors about not being able to open the folder as mentioned.
I'm hoping to find out how to change user A's Outlook back to using their
own calendar instead of user B's.
