I've 2 pc's connected.
Host-PC: Win XP Home Edition
Client-PC: Win XP Professional
They are connected with a crosscable, and sharing files
is no problem, so I'm sure that they are right connected.

But the internet works only on the host-PC. I have read
the files about sharing internet on the websites of
Microsoft, and everything is installed like they say.
Last Year I had the same problem and I fixed it by my
self (with luck).

But now, I didn't know how I did it, I think that I had
changed something by the instances of windows and by the
protocols.

Are there people who had the same problem, and who could
help me?

Tim

can you ping public ip? if yes, check the dns settings. if not, check the
default gateway settings.
