sharing files with Macs

I'm on a W2K network and I set up a couple of shares for
the macintoshes. For some reasons, the shared folders that
I set up does not show up on the macs when a user logs on.
I noticed when i went to computer management in the shared
folders properties there isn't a "shared permissions" tab
for each of these folders. Could that be the problem to
why Mac users can not see the shared folders? How can I
resolve this problem?

You did not mention setting up File and Print services for Mac. Did you?
