My husband, daughter and myself are all individual users
on our new Windows XP system (on the same computer). How
do I transfer files from one user to another?

Hi,

Right mouse click on the file,

Click on Properties,

Click on the Security tab

This should open up the security page where you can
specify a particular ownership and what permissions they
have to the file.

I don't know if the right clicking folder/properties
method will work in XP home. It doesn't have the
security features that XP Pro does.

You could use (or create a new folder in) the Shared
Documents folder (under C/Documents and Settings/All
Users) to place the items in. Of course, ALL users will
have access to these documents.
