Sharing a Program Question

J

James

In Windows XP, someone I know was asking how she could get a program available
to be used for herself and her sister when they log into Win. XP under their
own user names. (Currently this program is only accessible from a third
person's log in, so they have to enter his name and password to access the
program) I don't share my computer with others so is my area of expertise.

If she copies and pastes the program into C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents

would it then be accessible to ALL users? If not, what should she do instead?
I would really appreciate any advice you can give me. Thank you very much!
James

Could be that the proposed solution works. Otherwise you
may try to look at
C:\Documents and Settings\Userx\Applications and copy
whatever part that corresponds to that program to the
users that should have the application.

Thanks. I'll get her to try that and hopefully it'll work for her!
