sharing a printer

I have a network with mainly 98 machines on it, and a Novell server. I have
just bought a new PC with XP pro. I have shared it's printer over the
network, but when a user with 98 tries to print that are asked for a
password. I havent set any passwords. How can I get this user to use the
printer?

Take a look at the command to set a permanent printer password for a 98
machine. That user may have set one on printers for their system.
