sharing a 2000 hardrive

as a novice, can someone please tell me how to share a
2000 hardrive so that I can see it from the server to
backup on a tape drive

Goto My computer
Right click on the drive you want to share
Click properties
and there's a tab up the on the top called Sharing
click share this folder
apply and ok
