SharePoint Designer 2007 crashes when trying to save changes to a

It crashes every time and then restarts. Pretty much dead in the water.
 
Changes to a what?? A page??

Go here: http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm and download FP Cleaner ( with
Expression Web Designer and SharePoint Designer support )
Download links are at the bottom of the page.
Run the functions that clear:
The Hidden Temporary files.
The Hidden Cache (*.web) files.

See if it helps.

What else! Yes, it crashes when trying to save changes to a published page.
Every single time. If you can't save changes then what is the point of the
program?
