Frontpage 2003 Crashing after installing Office 2007 beta 2

I have installed the Office 2007 beta 2 program as well as the Sharepoint
Designer 2007 beta. I left my Frontpage 2003 installation intact. After the
installation, attempts to publish using either FP 2003 OR SD 2007 fail with
program crashes. I finally uninstalled SD 2007 and ran a repair on my FP
2003 installation, but FP 2003 still crashes when I try to publish.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

P.S. MS needs to change the groups in the beta community. There is a
Frontpage group but no SD 2007 newsgroup!!

You did, of course, install the Office beta on a test machine, not your
actual production computer, so you can reformat it?

You should never install beta software on a production machine, as you never
know what is going to happen. Office 2007 is not ready for prime time, and
there will definitely be problems.

Maybe someone can help you.

Go here: http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm and download FP Cleaner ( with
Expression Web Designer and SharePoint Designer support )
Download links are at the bottom of the page.
Run the functions that clear:
The Hidden Temporary files.
The Hidden Cache (*.web) files.
And also Restore the Default Toolbars and Menus

See if it helps.

If not:

Go here http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm and download Regseeker.

Uninstall FrontPage.
Reboot the computer.

Open Regseeker and run the registry cleaner function, and have it clean all sections of
the registry including unused ActiveX controls.
It will find a "lot" of junk.
Have it delete everything it finds.
( make sure it is set to save a backup )

Reboot the computer.
Reinstall FrontPage.

My issue appears to be due to a unstable msdaipp.dll file in the Office beta.
Rolling the file back to the previous version seems to have done the trick.

Glad you got it fixed.

Did you get it fixed? How did you change the unstable file? I have
uninstalled OF 2007 but Frontpage still refuses to publish.
