Hi,

As far as I know, "shared key" encryption is more secure than "open systems"
when used in combination with WEP 128 bits.

However, one of the MS helpscreens states differently.

Who can confirm that "shared key" is more secure than "open systems"?

I can't confirm or deny that, but it may not matter much, as
both are rather insecure. To achieve some security you want to
use MAC address restrictions.

WPA is considered secure. Use WPA-PSK instead. Some info can be
found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wi-Fi_Protected_Access.
