Shared folder not accessable

Hi there,

2 x XP Pro SP2 with updates and simple file sharing UN-ticked. I have
access to both computer to their Shared docs.
What I now want to do, is copy some files from the old to the new PC. I
have Shared the specific folder which I want to copy, BUT, these shared
folders are not accessable from the new PC, even though the folder is
shared.

Do I need ot do anything more?

don't have time for a long fix......BUT

you could drag the folder in question to the 'shared docs' folder then move
it to the new PC that way

I did that eventually after about 30 minutes of trying by just right-
click and "share".

I'll keep googling.
