Hello,
I have a problem with shared folders. I have Win XP Pro with Workgroup
configured. When I configure shared folder (set full control permissions to
my user) and try to access it through \\pc\SharedFolder I get an error that
folder isnt accessible. Could you please help me?
Thank you

Did you:

1. Disable Simple File Sharing from Folder Options>View tab?
2. Create identical user accounts/passwords on both computers?

If not, please do this and see if you can now access the share.

Good Day!

I think I have the same problem.

Previosly I was using WIndows XP but then a message appeared saying that
system files are missing or corrupted. I decided to upgrade to XP
Professional.
Now i can't access my previous administrator folder. All my important
documents are saved on my desktop on my previous admin folder.

Will you be ale to help me?

This is not the same issue at all. Next time please make a new post for your
issue instead of interjecting it into someone else's thread.

You just need to take ownership of the folder.
