Shared default calendar

A small law office wants to run a single shared Outlook 2003/Exchange
calendar that is everyone's default calendar. Is there any way to do this,
with or without third party software?

It needs to be everyone's default for several reasons, but one compelling
reason is PDA synchronization -- Palms only synch to the default calendar.
It also makes sense because, since they work as a team, they only want to
use one shared calendar; any other calendars are unused, and just a
nuisance.

So far as I can see, Microsoft doesn't support changing a user's default
calendar. Perhaps a third party product would work? As a third option,
automatic continuous calendar synchronization might be run on the Exchange
server.

Suggestions greatly appreciated. A lot of people seem to be looking for
this one.

No. The default calendar always is the one in the user's default information store, which should be the user's mailbox in an Exchange environment.
