Shared Database Creates 3512 Reminders

I have installed BCM 2007 and shared a database with another BCM 2007 server.

When I attach the client to the database of 1900 contacts, it creates a
reminder for every single record. This is despite the fact that Default
Reminders is turned off on both the client and the server.

When I select "Dimiss All" the client does so and then Outlook goes into
full on processing that takes 99% of CPU and it shows in Task Manager as Not
Responding. Even after three hours processing no progress is made.

How can I attach to the database without creating the thousands of reminders?

Sounds like a bug, and that it's stuck in an infinite loop. Report it
to Microsoft.

Workaround:

Instead of "Dismiss All", try "Remind Me Again", as far into the future
as it'll let you set it.

The simple solution was to recreate the database from a back up. This seems
to be working now. The DB might have corrupted.
