I am sharing my inbox and contacts with someone else.

the other person that has access to my inbox and contacts
would like to know if there is a way to add contacts for
me directly from my email addresses in my inbox.

Is this possible? If so, what are the steps to do this?

we are both using windows xp sp1 and outlook 2003.

If you open an item in your inbox, and then right lick on the sender ...
there is an option to add to contacts, but I think it wil lthen add the
person to HIS contacts ... maybe do a test and see.

Meaning you use Exchange?

I don't think so - if they open an item in your inbox and choose 'add to
contacts' I suspect it will go to *their* contacts.

Try it and see?
