Apparently you (Dave) along with alot of other reply posters have
failed to do your homework and jumped to hasty conclusions based on
your biased views of online file sharing. Shaeaza is a spyware and
ad free file sharing program provided freely as an open source
project on sourceforge. The source is open for free review, and the
software has had many positive reviews.

Now to answer Mr.Haarberg's question about his computer.

Unfortunelty there isn't much you will be able to do to make the
program run faster or use less resources. Some basic steps I could
recommend for anyone having slow computer issues would be stop other
programs running in the backround, make sure you're spyware and virus
free, tune up settings, ect. There are plenty of free guides for
doing this online.
So the answer is to drop the resource hog.

Cheers,

Cliff

It might start out as "spyware and adware free," but it's open-source
nature means that it is ultimately "unsecurable." Anyone with the will
and the knowledge can create and distribute a malware-laden version.
Thus, the product is ultimately untrust-worthy, particularly as it's
specifically designed to serve a niche market where complete disregard
of intellectual property rights and integrity are the watch-word.

Maybe the best advice is to say: do it, have fun and see you in a few
weeks time?

oh my g** what kind of ppl do we have here......instead of writing
bullshit,
just answer the question or dont bother to. simple as that, but guess
thats
just simple for paris hilton......never understood why ppl really care to
write things that dont concern the question. dont they have anything else
to
do? lame ppl? its like politicians, they reply with a question or they
reply
with something else than what they should. what kinda world do we live
in?
im just askin? why cant ppl just answer what ppl ask, instead of replying
to
something completly different? simple life.....

To use your example, a person was complaining about their computer being
slow while running a P2P application. As almost everyone of us know,
they also install/bring malware and other apps that hide and cause
computer performance issues. The recommendation to remove it was the
correct one - it's not worth the trouble to keep it.

Your reply was unconstructive and did not address the posters question,
which means you were bitching at yourself :)

Here we go again...on and on and on...will it ever stop???Why cant ppl just
be constructive and simple, instead of writing lots of nonsense. Stick to
the fact/question. Dont write lots of mumba lumba which doesant concern me
or others.

Life is simple!!!! u know!!!

Nice trolling tact, just realized what you are doing.
