Share contacts automatically between Windows Mail and Outlook 2002

When I had Windows XP I was able to share contacts between Outlook 2002 and
Outlook Express by adding a DWORD.
I tried the same with my new computer with Vista that uses Windows Mail and
my old Outlok 2002 but it does not work, any ideas?
Thank you

The Windows Mail contacts are in a different format.
Sharing is not possible, not even between Windows Mail and the newer
Windows Live Mail. You can, however, import/export between them by
using the common CSV format.

Thank you for your reply Gary,
Several years ago I was told the same for the XP format and then one day out
of the blue someone came up with the solution.

It is hard to belive that when Vista was developed they did not take this in
account.

So I am hoping that a solution will be found.
Regards
Peter

Perhaps. But Windows Mail is a dead end program, and so I fear is
the associated Windows Contacts.
Going forward all development is focused on the newer Windows Live
Mail.
