Hi,
why is the video always on-top? I want shapes to be over the video during
playback.. how could I do that?

Jan

One of the gurus might have a third-party answer, but within PowerPoint it
isn't going to happen - the video is always on top.

There's no simple answer. The only thing that shows over video are control
toolboxi tems and you cant control these with animations!

Hmm... interesting notice, thank you for that idea.. since I don't need to
animate that, it could help me!
Jan

Please post back if whatever you are doing works! I'm working on this at the
moment.

Yep, it works, unless you click the video to pause. Then, when you click to
resume, it is brought to the foreground.
And, what is a little bit more pitty is, that if you set the background of
eg. label to transparent, it does not render transparent during video play.

But otherwise good trick, thanks.
Jan

That was just an idea to try :-) I actually thought I could use labels with
the same background color as the slide has to visually crop out the black
stripes from the 16:9 video in 4:3 and that works good enough. :)

Thanks!
Jan
