shaing a win 98se printer to an XP system

Does anyone have the steps required to share a printer or files
from a win 98 system to an XP system?

I have sharing set on the win 98 system but the XP system
can't find the win 98 system or the printer.

Greetings,

Make sure they are in same WorkGroup,

Also check they have the same protocol(s)

If you use TCP/IP, you may have to set an address
(if you don't have e.g. a DHCP router)

Try adding an ipx/spx/netBIOS protocal on both pc's.
