On startup I get an error from SFC.exe stating that sfc.dll is not a valid
windows file.
I downloaded service pack2 prior to this but had to restore to earlier time
as so much didn't work. This rectified everything but left me with this dll
error and it will alos not let me access add/remove programs in control panel

Another option is do a repair install with an XP SP1 disk.
