sfc cant find SourcePath key in windows registry

Recently after removing viruses and malware from pc i found that both system
restore and sfc were not working properly. I managed to fix the problem with
system restore however sfc refuses to accept my dvd rw as being there and
keeps asking for xp cd even when its in drive. I tried what is suggested in
microsoft website bout editing keys but the key source path does not exist at
all in whole of registry. It is possible it was deleted by malware.

How can i reinstal it so sfc works

Even with the repedative message,Sfc will/would still run as its suppose to.
However to fix the problem,open regedit,expand:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE,software,
microsoft,windows,current version,L.click on setup.L.click on source
path,go to
edit,modify,set to the same letter as youre cdrom or rw is in my
computer.Then
open installation source,do the same,close out regedit when thru...
