Several problems with Windows

Emil Lulic

I've been using Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit for a while now, and have
recently encountered some annoying problems.

1. Problem with Hibernation:
Whenever I click on the Hibernate button in the start menu, my computer only
locks, and doesn't hibernate. I've had this problem before on a previous
installation of Windows, after I installed Virtual PC 2007, but the problems
stopped after I ran System Restore. Unfortunately now, I don't have a
restore point (I'm not sure if it would've helped at all), so I uninstalled
Virtual PC 2007, and nothing... I've even tried a registry cleaner, to fix
the problem (TweakNow RegCleaner Pro v3.0.2), but even after the cleaning,
the problem still persists.

2. Problem with Games Explorer:
The Games Explorer worked fine for a while, but then it stopped listing all
newly installed games (Call of Duty 4, SimCity Societies, Campus, The Sims
2: Family Fun Stuff, Need for Speed: Pro Street), but games installed before
these (World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, SimCity 4, The Sims 2: Open
for Business, Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed) show correctly (album art
and all added information). The Games Explorer works fine except for this
annoying problem.

My final question: Is there any way to fix any or both problems without
having to re-install Windows?

Thank you in advance for your help and time.

P.S.: I wish everyone a Happy New Year 2008!

drag&drop the main game executable (files *.exe) from Program files folder
to Games Explorer's window, in order to add these unrecognized games.

I did that, and it put the game onto the list, but still didn't download any
additional information or box art... It even lists date last played, but
nothing else off the internet...
