I have IE 7 and 8 Beta, Firefox and Safari on my winxp. Is this too many
browsers?
Do I need to delete one of these? IE 8 can't be deleted with 7. Was advised
to take off
Beta. Have 2.52 GHz, 256 MB of Ram. Play games on computer and sometimes a
window comes up that says low on virtual memory. I really like IE and I just
downloaded Safari so if I need to get rid of something probably be Firefox. I
want what's
good for pc.
thanks.

You can have as many browsers installed as you want. In fact, it's always
good to have a third-party browser installed for troubleshooting purposes.
As for IE8, Thou Shalt Not Install Beta Software On A Production Machine
Unless You Are Willing To Wipe And Reinstall Windows.

You are pretty low on RAM. I'd add at least another 256MB. Depending on the
games you run, you may want to increase to 1GB RAM. RAM is cheap. Go to
www.crucial.com and use the Memory Adviser Tool to see what kind of RAM you
need. If you have a generic (not branded like a Dell, HP, etc.) computer,
refer to the motherboard manual for RAM requirements.

Hi
You can leave them installed, just use them one at the time.
Safari and Firefox do Not take any memory when they are not running.
In general 256MB is Not really enough to run today's applications.
Memory is very inexpensive these days, if you can teach yourself how to
install memory by yourself 1GB of RAM should be $20 to $30,
