I'm stuck in an install loop. My computer doesn't recognise my XP disk as
bootable and it was in the process of reinstalling XP when it fell over.
Now it get down to 7% to go and is stuck there.

I cannot get it to continue nor can I back out. I have noticed I can see
the C drive from another networked PC so is there a file I need to remove to
stop the PC automatically restarting the install everytime it's fired up??

The computer is useless until I can fix this problem. Can someone offer
some advice????

Reseat your ram and remove all cards sept your video and try again.

.... in Homer Simpson voice "Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god." Doesn't sound
good.

your cd drive could have been damaged when it fell, try the cd on another machine, or try a different drive in the effected machine.
