Ok I fixed my problem where I couldn't see anythin on my monitor(happened to
be a bad ram stick I bought the other day)
During installation of XP SP1 it gets to 28% of installation, formatting
already done, and then freezes when trying to copy driver.cab. I can retry or
skip. I have skipped and about 5 other files couldn't be copied. I go to
setup windows after and it keeps giving me error boxes(was hoping I can skip,
install windows, copy files from cd onto windows folder, but I can't even get
past the windows installation setup). The disc has about minor scratches.
If no one can help me I'm considering buying a new pc. It's a dell dimension
4500. The only thing not upgraded on it is the monitor(crt) and video
card(geforce mb agp mx420).
