Setup cannot copy driver.cab

Trying to reinstall XP on a PC and set up says it cannot copy driver.cab. If
I skip this it hangs on a few other files but retry will read them in, but
as it won't cop driver.cab, I cannot re-install XP

This often means hardware problems, including RAM. Remove and reseat the
memory, or replace it with known-good memory.

Problems installing an operating system are usually hardware related.

1. Bad CD - scratched, dirty, bad burn, etc.
2. Bad CD drive.
3. Bad hard drive (doesn't matter if it's new).
4. Bad RAM.

Do some hardware troubleshooting based on the above.

Have run tests using Ultimate Boot CD on HD and RAM, all OK. For pure
testing purposes and with the intention of removing them straight away I
tried a XP Pro CD and an XP Media Centre Live Edition and both loaded fine
but not Home Edition.
