How do I find settings please? I have been told to change it to 10 seconds,

Somebody told me on another group. It's Tools-Accounts-Properties- Advanced.

That is the sort of thing that ought to be in Help. There is a lot of
technical stuff, but no answers to simple questions.

Perhaps if you told us exactly what settings you are trying to change it
would help. Which program? There are thousands of programs which all have
settings. How are we supposed to know which one you are having trouble
with?

Are there other places where settings can be changed?

It was the timeout settings I was looking for, and somebody told me where to
find them. There doesn't seem to be anything called "settings" to click
This is the sort of thing I would have expected to find in the Help menu, a
list of all the settings and where to find them. I couldn't find anything
like that.
I think the problem is solved now. Many people were having the same trouble
these last few days.
