setting up windows xp

I started the installation of windows xp, and it stopped in
the middle because I still have windows me on my computer
and I know I have to uninstall windows me but can't seem
to find it.. i've searched in my install/uninstall programs
but it's not there..can you tell me where to find windows
me to uninstall it..

You don't "uninstall" Windows ME. When you do the new install of XP, you
are asked whether you want to re-partition and re-format the hard drive.
You should do this. By deleting and then recreating the partition and then
reformatting, the old Windows will be gone.
